Cherry-red colour with pink highlights. Elegant nose, with notes of strawberry, pepper and a hint of flowers. Full-bodied on the palate, with good volume and tannins that are both grainy and fine. The aromas of pepper, strawberry and peony come through nicely. A fine identity with breed and finesse of texture is combined with elegant length on the palate.

Domaine Font de Courtedune

The vineyard is located in the commune of Courthézon, in the southern Côtes du Rhône, to the north of the larger Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation. For three generations, the Charrier family has run this estate, which is currently managed by Caroline, who is in charge of vinification and the cellar, while her brother Frédéric looks after the work in the vines.
