Le Caveau de Bacchus is composed of three fine wine retail locations in Geneva, Gland and Gstaad. This offer is refined through Bacchus Spirits, specialized in fine spirits, andthe wine bar & restaurant Chez Bacchus, both situated on the Cours de Rive in Geneva.

In 1996, La Galerie des Arts du Vin, a small wine oenotheque offering Bordeaux wines, was opened. Born of a passion for wine passed down from generation to generation, the first Caveau de Bacchus shop was inaugurated in 1999 in Geneva. Two other wine shops have since followed suit in Gstaad (2004) and Gland (2014). The same passion led us to create Bacchus Spirits in 2012, with a view to offering the largest possible range of rare spirits accompanied by expert advice. In 2019, a new chapter begins with the opening of Chez Bacchus: in the extension of the arcades, directly adjacent to the wine and spirits shops, only separated by a door. An ideal spot to relax and share for oenophiles, wine lovers and epicureans. 

The same year, Bacchus launched an online shop with a range of products to suit all budgets and tastes. 

Today, Le Caveau de Bacchus is a benchmark supplier for both private customers and the region’s renowned restaurants and hotels.  

The expert sommeliers are committed to offering a carefully selected range of wines from the main wine-growing regions, while providing personalised advice. Wines, champagnes and spirits in all formats, from the most recognisable labels to new and exclusive products, including vintages to discover and a wide selection of organic and biodynamic wines.  

They also enjoy unearthing unusual listings in order to offer their customers sought-after bottles available in very limited quantities. Bacchus Spirits is constantly expanding its fine range of exceptional spirits, from timeless classics to brand new bottles.
