Intense, dark ruby color with pink highlights. The nose is fine, with a beautiful expression of the grape variety: ripe bell pepper, licorice, tobacco, black cherry. Fresh and elegant on the palate, with the noble depth of old vines. Mellow tannins are combined with long, elegant balance. A very open wine to date, bringing great pleasure to the palate.

Domaine Gasnier

The Gasnier family, the 4th generation to head a 30 hectare estate, has been cultivating the vineyards on the banks of the River Vienne biodynamically for 17 years. Located at the crossroads of three provinces, including Touraine, Chinon was a stronghold thanks to its waterways. The warm, dry oceanic climate, moderated by the water holes, delayed the ripening of the vines. The surrounding forest acted as a bulwark against the winds and cold of the north.
