In 1984, the Rothschild family acquired Château Rieussec in Fargues and from then on put all their know-how to work to enhance this magnificent vineyard neighbouring the illustrious Château d’Yquem. The result is a wine of great aromatic density, offering great freshness when young, and revealing all the attractions of old Sauternes after a few years in the cellar.
