A great, free and singular White Wine

The history of white wines at Grand Village spans several generations, but it was in 2013, driven by Julie and Baptiste Guinaudeau, that Les Champs Libres was born — with the ambition of revealing the potential of specific plots on the clay-limestone plateau of Ambeau.

Made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc, this wine comes from four meticulously selected parcels: “À Louima,” “Mathilde,” “Léonard,” and “Les Acacias.” Each year, precise work is carried out in the vineyard, followed by vinification and nine months of barrel aging.

The wine captivates with its floral and complex nose, its full and balanced palate, and a finish of remarkable persistence. In just a few vintages, Les Champs Libres has established itself as a great white wine of Bordeaux — outside traditional codes, yet driven by the same winemaking excellence that defines Château Lafleur.
