Domaine Gasnier

The Gasnier family, the 4th generation to head a 30 hectare estate, has been cultivating the vineyards on the banks of the River Vienne biodynamically for 17 years. Located at the crossroads of three provinces, including Touraine, Chinon was a stronghold thanks to its waterways. The warm, dry oceanic climate, moderated by the water holes, delayed the ripening of the vines. The surrounding forest acted as a bulwark against the winds and cold of the north.
