The light ruby colour with pink highlights is typical of this grape variety, which has little intensity. The nose is fine and open, with floral notes of rose and dried flowers, accompanied by red fruits such as strawberry and cherry pulp. The palate is delicate at first impression, then fine and suave. Gentle extraction produces silky tannins. The altitude of the vineyard brings out a lovely freshness. A long, aromatic finish with a basket of red berries. A real Provençal delicacy!

Domaine Gavoty

A beautiful, historic estate in Provence, in the hands of the Gavoty family since 1806, now run by Roselyne and her children. The vines are planted in the hills of the Var, in the commune of Cabasse, at altitude, in an extreme zone for this wine-growing hinterland. The 110 ha of arid garrigue surrounds the estate's vines, along with holm and white oaks and pine trees. The climate is continental, protected from the sea by the Maures mountain range. Wide temperature swings bring complexity to the crops.
