Soft and generous, it matures in small casks: former Bordeaux wine barrels, re-charred and often seasoned with cider before receiving the calvados. The blend is completed with ageing in old Sherry, Port and Banyuls casks, adding sweetness and complexity. It reveals ample fruit with notes of ripe apple.
