Albino Rocca

The Albino Rocca estate, located in Barbaresco in Piedmont, is a family-run winery whose history dates back to the 1940s with Giacomo Rocca. In the 1960s, his son Angelo established the cellar and expanded the vineyards. Today, his daughters Daniela, Monica, and Paola continue the family legacy.
The estate cultivates vineyards in some of Barbaresco’s most renowned crus: Ronchi, Ovello Vigna Loreto, Montersino, and Cottà. Plantings are dominated by Nebbiolo, the noble grape of Barbaresco, alongside Barbera, Dolcetto, Cortese, Chardonnay, and Moscato. The soils are clay-limestone with layers of tuff, providing the wines with elegance, structure, and excellent aging potential.
Winemaking emphasizes terroir authenticity, with long aging in large Austrian and German oak casks, and a sustainable approach to viticulture. Albino Rocca wines are recognized for their finesse, balance, and faithful expression of Barbaresco’s terroirs.
